Updates to all plugins and a small, useful gift

14 May 2026

Update card showing full suite installer 1.1.1 and new plugin lineup additions

A new round of updates is now live across the whole lineup.

Most of it is practical. Some of it is less practical. One part of it is a little weird, but in a way I personally enjoy.

Updates across plugins

All plugins now support resizable UI in both VST3 and AU.

Command-click, Option-click, and double-click on knobs and sliders now reset to default values. Everyone seems to use slightly different conventions here, so I ended up supporting all three.

Frequency Guillotine and Entropy Encoder now show sync rates ordered by timing length.

In Frequency Guillotine and Spectral Pressure Chamber, synced and manual randomization no longer write automation for generated values.

In Spectral Pressure Chamber, the control previously labeled FAST / SLOW is now correctly labeled SLOW / FAST. This is only a UI naming fix. Existing projects stay exactly the same.

Curves & Membranes additions

Curves & Membranes now includes a deliberately simple preset system. Randomize a name, hit Save, and step through presets with the arrow controls.

Preset files are stored in your Documents folder. Rename and delete actions are handled directly in Finder.

Your DAW may request Documents-folder access. That permission is required for preset save and recall.

A new Velocity Mode has also been added. Compared to Regular mode, it increases envelope response to velocity and moves all three filter nodes vertically based on incoming velocity. The low-pass and high-pass nodes also move horizontally to open further, unless they are already at the edges of the filter canvas.

A small gift for Full Suite and Scientist Suite owners

A new plugin called Grain Discharge is already available through account recovery for existing Full Suite and Scientist Suite owners.

It will be officially released on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 29 EUR as a standalone plugin, and it will be included in those two bundles going forward.

Because of that, bundle prices will increase on May 18, 2026:

Scientist Suite: 79 EUR

Full Suite: 99 EUR

All prices include 25% VAT.

If you have not bought one of those bundles yet, you can still get Grain Discharge included at the current bundle price until Monday, May 18, 2026.

What is Grain Discharge?

Grain Discharge started from the idea of reusing the fluid simulation from Cavitation Fractures in a more musical direction.

It became a grain-cloud style effect where an audio-reactive simulation model drives behavior. Most of the work has been in tuning response and controls so it stays surprising, but still musical.

Speed acts as a slow-down control. At maximum, the simulation runs at Cavitation Fractures speed. Lower settings move it into slower-motion behavior.

Size, Fade In, and Linger shape grain growth and lifespan. Pitch controls pitch-shift distribution for new grains, with stronger octave-up behavior at higher settings. Detune controls spread, and Modulation sets modulation amount for newly created grains.

Like Cavitation Fractures, it does not produce the exact same result twice. It is also CPU-heavy. I still think it is worth it.

Getting the updates

The updates, and Grain Discharge for eligible owners, are available now through the account recovery page.

Thanks again for all the support.

All the best,
