Harmonic Dissector v1.2.0 update artwork showing the updated interface

A small round of updates this time. Mostly stability stuff for the geometry plugins, and a bigger update for Harmonic Dissector.

Geometry Delay - v1.0.1

  • Reduced occasional feedback-tail clicks
  • Improved editor stability
  • Windows WebView maintenance and general fixes

Geometry Reverb - v1.0.1

  • Improved editor stability
  • Windows WebView maintenance and general fixes

Binaural Modulator - v1.0.1

  • Improved editor stability
  • Windows WebView maintenance and general fixes

Harmonic Dissector - v1.2.0

This is the bigger one.

The main thing here is motion. The interface has grown with an extra section at the bottom, but the sound itself is exactly the same.

Release notes

  • Added randomization of both sections (not affecting filter response, but following the slew setting)
  • Added the 4-slot slewed preset system from the Geometry series
  • Added clocked stepping of slots via internal or host clock
  • Added ability to turn off slots by double click or shift click
  • Added copy and paste function, to make it easier to align the 4 slots
  • Added value labels for LFO rates
  • Brightened the interface and increased contrast to make it more usable on low-contrast screens

It might not sound like that much on paper, but I found that it opens the plugin up to a lot more range.

Just by changing panning or level between slots, you can get into tremolo and auto-pan territory. But since there are two parallel filter sections, it can go much further than that. You can of course also create stepping or sweeping filter effects.

I got stuck for a couple of hours yesterday just playing a Rhodes emulation through it.

Another tip if you want some extra fun: run the LFOs at audio rate and modulate the depth of FM and BandWidth per step.

The updates are available on your account page, both as standalone installers and in the bundles.

All the best,
